Multimedia/Web Development is responsible for assisting in building and maintaining the dedicated Customer Service and Technical Support website.Focus is on content creation and upkeep, ensuring user record accuracy, responding to customer’s website concerns and driving new initiatives for improvement for the site.
Partner with Customers, marketing team, QA and Customer Service to develop web site content in various forms for Customer use.
Uploading and organizing documents and downloads.
Monitoring and merging contacts in the database to ensure proper records are kept.
Respond to customer and internal inquiries about the Support Site.
Reviewing and editing articles in the knowledge base for language and form.
Monitor service incidents for trending issues that should be flagged for web articles.
Various other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience.
1 year of work related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Not only an interest and experience with new media and internet tools and technologies but a passion for the subject.
A strong understanding of multimedia technologies such as Flash and web technologies such as HTML and CSS a plus.
Experience managing a consumer products website preferred.
Experience with ecommerce or drop shipment fulfillment preferred.
Ability to work independently, with a high degree of initiative in resolving, developing and implementing problem resolutions.
Great conceptual and creative mind with commitment to high quality and brand integrity.
Strong design skills for user interface and relentless attention to details.
Experience interpreting analytical data, metrics, surveys and other measures of success for the web. Ability to convert data findings into actionable opportunities for improvement in key areas.
Proven ability to problem-solve and produce results in entrepreneurial, fast-paced business environment.
Ability to work well under pressure, handling several deadline projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism and a positive attitude.
