A small creative film representation agency is seeking an assistant to the CEO.
It is a contract position with pay to be negotiated. The length of the contract can also be negotiated. Willing to work with students if scheduling allows. Office hours are generally: 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday
This person is required to answer the phones and respond to emails, while maintaining small office duties such as light bookkeeping, client follow-up, invoicing and general organization.
Skills required:
- MAC computer environment, must be proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Ical & Entourage - Organization skills a must - Very good phone demeanor and email etiquette (must be conscientious of private information) - Basic Adobe Photoshop understanding - FTP familiarity (Filezilla) - Video compression familiarity (MPEG Streamclip, and hosting limitations) - bookkeeping skills particularly A/P & invoicing. (The system used is MYOB)
Web development and web maintenance knowledge are an extreme advantage as we are seeking to revamp our site to include a Content Management System which this person shall maintain on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate is an upbeat person with an administrative and lightly technical background. This person strives to bring positivity to every task while looking ahead to the future.
