Financial Analyst - Marketing

Our client, a global consumer packaged goods firm in north Mississauga/Brampton, is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the sales and marketing team for a 1 year contract.  This organization is committed to the development of all employees and encourages growth from within.  This tight-knit finance team works together so that everyone, including the organization, benefit from the positive working environment. 

As Financial Analyst, you will be a key player in supporting the day-to-day reporting and project work affect the company’s bottom line relating to sales and marketing.  Reporting duties include, forecasts, budget preparation, tracking brand advertising and promotion budgets, accruals and reconciliations.  Other project work includes business reviews, presentation preparation and new product analysis.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience in an analysis role.  2 years of experience is required in a consumer packaged goods firm supporting sales and marketing functions.  Strong experience with ERP, BI tools and MS Excel are required.  Completion of a Canadian accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) is required.  MBA would be a strong asset.
